This privacy policy has been developed in compliance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation). By virtue of this policy notice, we inform you about the type of information capable of identifying you as a particular individual (hereinafter referred to as "personal information") we may collect from you, the purposes for which we will use your personal data, with whom such information will be shared and the security procedures we have implemented to protect your privacy.
Personal data is information that can be related to a specific individual, such as the individual's name, location data, an identification number or email address, your transactions with us and any other related information.
The data collected are processed by REBORRN S.A. (henceforth referred to as "we" or "us"), having its registered seat in Athens, Greece.
We have also appointed a data protection officer ("DPO"), who is responsible for overseeing questions in relation to this privacy notice. Our role
If you are using our website to:
- access information relevant to our company products, services, and brand;
- contact us for any matter via the contact form or find information on how to contact us by other means to make enquiries;
- find links to our social media pages (LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram);
or you are just visiting or browsing our website, we act as the "Data Controller" or as the "Data Processor" (article 4 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679) of personal data. This means we determine why and how your data are processed.
If you provide us with personal information about other people, or if others give us your information, we will only use that information for the specific purpose for which it was provided to us. By submitting any information, you confirm that you have the right to authorise us to process it on your behalf in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Types of data we collect
Data relevant to your enquiries via our email
When you contact us for any matter via email, we collect your email and the content of your message.
Data relevant to current job openings
When you are applying for an open position via our website, we will collect your full name and email, phone number, CV or Resume, your photo (should you choose to upload one), your cover letter and any personal data you include. We will also collect the answers to questions which may be posted on the contact form page (e.g. wage expectations, notice period etc.).
Special categories of data and children's data
We do not collect any data about you revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health or data concerning sex life or sexual orientation, except when we have your explicit consent, or when we must comply with the law.
We offer products and services directed to and intended for use only by those who are 18 years of age or over. Our marketing efforts do not target children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal data from any person under 16 years of age. In any case, if we find that we have collected any personal information from a minor under 16 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete this information from our database as soon as possible. If you believe we may have collected information from a minor under the age of 16, please contact our Data Protection Officer at the email noted above.
Legal bases for processing
To collect and/or use your personal data we have at least one of the following legal bases:
- Consent. You have given us clear and explicit consent to process your personal data for one or more specific purposes. If you have previously given consent to processing your data, you can withdraw such consent at any time by emailing us at privacy@reborrn.com. If you do withdraw your consent, and if we do not have another legal basis for processing your information, then we will stop processing your personal data.
- Contract. Processing your data is necessary for a contract you have with us, or because providing such data is necessary to take specific steps before entering that contract (e.g. contract negotiations etc.).
- Legitimate interests. Processing your data is necessary for our legitimate interests provided those interests are not outweighed by your legal rights and interests. These include: addressing your enquiries, delivering, developing and improving our products and services, determining whether marketing campaigns are effective, improving data security, assessing the fit of a candidate who has applied via our website, and supporting our legal rights and claims or defending against third-party claims in court or state authorities.
- Legal obligation. Processing of your data is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject (e.g. providing you with an invoice or when required by law enforcement).
How we collect and use your data
We use your personal data for the following reasons:
- Addressing your enquiries regarding our company, services, and products (legal bases: contract, consent and legitimate interest).
- Assessing your job candidacy if you have chosen to apply for a job opening via our website (legal bases: consent, legitimate interest).
- Improving our services and the performance of the website (legal bases: consent and legitimate interest).
- Supporting our legal rights and claims or defending against third-party claims in court or state authorities (legal basis: legitimate interests).
How we protect your data
This website is operated according to applicable Greek, EU legislation and United Kingdom ("UK") GDPR legislation, and it stores your personal data safely. We have physical and electronic procedures (technical and organisational measures) to secure and protect the information we collect and process. We check the response and sufficiency of these procedures at regular intervals.

Location of processing and storage
The personal data we collect are stored and processed in the EU or the UK and in any data processing facilities operated by the third parties identified below.
You agree to the transfer, storing or processing of your data by us, by submitting your personal data to us. If your information is transferred or stored outside of Greece, the EU, or the EEA in this way, we will take steps to ensure that your privacy rights continue to be protected as outlined in this Privacy Policy.
Any personal data stored by us will be deleted within five (5) years of its collection. All personal data related to your job opening inquiry will be deleted within one (1) year. We may however keep your personal data longer in order to exercise or defend a legal claim or in case we are obliged by a legal provision to do so.
Your rights
1. Right of access.You have the right to access the information we hold about you. You can contact us and we shall inform you about the categories of data we're processing, the purposes of data processing, the categories of third parties to whom the data may be disclosed, how long the data will be stored, and other rights you have regarding our use of your data. We can also send you a copy of this information if you wish.
2. Right to rectification. You have the right to ask us to correct personal data about you if they are inaccurate or incomplete.
3. Right to object. You can object to us using your data for profiling you or making automated decisions about you. We can deny your request if such processing is necessary for us and you to enter a contract or perform our obligations arising out of such contract, or when such processing is authorised in law or when you have provided explicit consent to such processing.
4. Right to data portability. You have the right to ask us to directly transfer your data to another service if it is technically feasible or to provide you with a copy in a common machine-readable format.
5. Right to be forgotten. You have the right to request that we erase your personal data. All you have to do is ask and we will delete your data unless we have another legal reason to retain your personal data or continue to process them without restriction (such as a legal claim or a regulatory requirement).
6. Right to restrict marketing. You can ask us not to use your data for direct marketing purposes or when we process your personal data for our legitimate interests or for statistical purposes. With the exception of direct marketing, we can however reject your request if we have strong reasons to continue processing your data which override your objection.
7. Right to restrict processing. You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data when you are contesting the accuracy of your data, when you believe your data has been unlawfully processed, when we no longer need the data but you need us to keep them for a legal claim, or when you have objected to processing and we are considering whether our legitimate grounds override yours.
You can exercise all the aforementioned rights by contacting our Data Protection Officer via email at privacy@reborrn.com. We shall address your request within thirty (30) days. In complex cases it may take up to two (2) additional months, but we will let you know within thirty (30) days of reception of your initial request.
Third parties and sharing
As with most websites, we often have to use the services of third parties to be able to keep the Website running, provide our website's services and in order to be able to perform all its functions. To that extent, sometimes it is necessary for us to share your data with them to get these services to work well.
Social media
Our website contains links to our Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter accounts so that you can connect with our social media account more easily and share content found on this website via your own accounts. Servers and cloud storage
In order to keep the website up and running we do need to co-operate with providers of server/cloud storage mechanisms. We make sure that such providers are always located in the EU.
Recruiting partners
We use third parties to better streamline and strengthen our recruitment processes and assess your fit with a job opening if you have decided to proceed with such an inquiry.
Your information and countries outside the EU or the EEA
Some of your information may be processed, transferred, or stored outside of the EU or the EEA. To that extent, we take steps to ensure that your privacy rights continue to be protected as outlined in this Privacy Policy. We always elect to cooperate with best-in-field third parties, which might also have appropriate accreditation in relation to personal data protection.

Like any other website, our website uses cookies. Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are unique to each web browser and are widely used to enable website functionality, efficiency or reporting.
